3 - How should stylists apply it?
Mix with a developer (per brand instructions; typical mix is 1:1) and apply evenly from roots to ends, saturating hair thoroughly.
Process for recommended time (often 35-45 minutes, depending on desired result and starting hair condition), then rinse and follow with conditioning or after-color care.
For best results on previously lightened or highlighted hair — choose a shade appropriate for base level and use cool-toned maintenance to preserve result. (Good especially for fashion shades or for toning brassiness.)
